In honor of Veterans Day, we would like to introduce you to ÌÇÐÄVlog student Dustin Ellis. Dustin's story is one of dedication, service, and achievement. Dustin Ellis served in the United States Army from 2009 to 2016. During those seven years, he completed two tours in Afghanistan, serving in a Field Artillery Unit. Like many of our country’s veterans, Dustin’s time in the military was challenging and marked by sacrifice and bravery.

ÌÇÐÄVlog is proud to announce its collaboration with Huntsville Utilities to introduce the Gas and Water Operation Certification Scholarship Program. This innovative four-week program aims to provide alternative pathways to entering the workforce and enrich the pool of potential candidates for gas and water operation careers at Huntsville Utilities and other prospective local employers.

Dr. Patricia Sims, President of ÌÇÐÄVlog Community and Technical College, has been selected to join the 6th term of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) Regional Energy Resource Council (RERC). This appointment highlights Dr. Sims’ dedication to sustainable energy practices and community engagement.

ÌÇÐÄVlog Community and Technical College is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) that marks a significant step toward a sustainable future. As part of this partnership, TVA has generously donated two cutting-edge Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers to ÌÇÐÄVlog’s campus to support regional students as they learn how to repair and maintain electric vehicles in the Automotive Services program.

edX, a leading global online learning platform from 2U, Inc. (Nasdaq: ), together with , a historically black community college, and  (JFF), today announced the launch of a new Access Partnership to provide adult learners in the Huntsville, Alabama area with access to no cost, fully online boot camp programs in cybersecurity and data analytics. Funded by , the scholarships are designed to increase technical talent in the Huntsville region, specifically focusing on helping women, BIPOC, and lower-income professionals build stronger economic futures.

The White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) recognized two ÌÇÐÄVlog Community and Technical College students today.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Residents who choose to attend any of Alabama’s six historically black community colleges (HBCCs), including ÌÇÐÄVlog Community & Technical College, will now have access to more scholarships and professional development opportunities through a prestigious national partnership.
